Photography has recently become a hobby, as has the editing that can add so much to a picture. Mark was kind enough to buy me a DSLR camera for my birthday this year, so I've been having a blast playing! There are occasional contests that I participate in just for fun, and I need some place to post my entries, so here they are. Hope you guys get a kick out of watching me learn!

Project 365 - Day 1!

I've seen a bunch of people doing 365 projects, where they take a picture a day for one year. I've always thought this sounded fun and interesting, but was never sure where to start, or if I could commit. One of the photography websites I read occasionally recently published ideas for weekly themes to take you through the year, which inspired me to go for it!  I love taking pictures of my boys, but I can only take so many pictures of them doing the same things!  This will give me the opportunity to branch out, and force me to be more creative. Wish me luck, I'm sure I'll stumble along the way...
